Brent oversees several Kroll service lines including Cyber and Data Resilience, Enterprise Security Risk Management, Expert Services, Financial Services Compliance and Regulation, Investigations, Diligence and Compliance, Resolver’s Risk Intelligence Platform, Restructuring and Business Services, Brent advises Fortune 500 companies, law firms and financial institutions, advising on complex investigations, cybersecurity, restructurings, litigation support, regulatory risk, capital market services, risk modeling, M&A and transformation initiatives.
His unique background bridges legal, financial and strategic perspectives to deliver actionable solutions and enterprise value.
Prior to his current role, Brent was an M&A attorney at Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP and Latham and Watkins LLP, advising on high-stakes corporate transactions, capital markets offerings, restructurings and regulatory matters. He later moved into investment banking, advising on capital structuring, cross-border transactions and strategic transformation.
Additionally, Brent led strategy and transformation initiatives at Prime Clerk, a Carlyle-backed business services platform, and Kroll, where he helped shape operational direction and go-to-market execution during periods of high growth and market disruption. His clients have included Crown Castle International, CyrusOne, RR Donnelly, Conagra, Dover Corporation, Honeywell, Goodyear Tire, Stanely Black and Decker, Seagate Technologies amongst others.
His experience spans numerous industries including private equity, private credit, asset managers, financial services, hospitality, software development, outsourcing, transportation and logistics, business services, food, healthcare, retail, professional services, manufacturing, entertainment, sports, telecommunications, and consumer products. Brent has a deep understanding of the unique, complex, financial and operational challenges that different businesses face throughout their lifecycle.
Brent holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and a B.A. in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
