Rapid-fire events are reshaping the business environment in real time as an intensifying trade war jolts the global economy. The months ahead will undoubtedly bring additional hurdles, deepening complexity for decision makers across regions and industries. One thing is clear: corporate preparedness and resilience will be paramount.
To understand how organizations spanning continents from Asia Pacific to the Americas are navigating the uncertainty, Kroll conducted the 2025 Global Business Sentiment Survey: Resilience, Risks, and Preparedness. This survey collected insights from 1,200 C-suite executives in financial services, technology, and other industries across more than 20 countries, providing an unparalleled view of the international business landscape.
We invite you to attend our upcoming webinars, where Kroll's experts will provide critical insights and examine benchmark data from the survey including financial health, geopolitical challenges, cyber security vulnerabilities, and the adoption of artificial intelligence. To accommodate different time zones we are offering two webinar sessions. Please reserve your space below.
8/10 leaders reported that cybersecurity concerns have increased within their organizations over the past year
Only 3/10 organizations responded feeling very prepared to address geopolitical tensions
Only 9% of respondents are confident in their organization’s financial health, while 18% anticipate a potential restructuring
93% of organizations have implemented AI tools, while 6/10 surveyed lack basic AI policies for employees
Our findings highlight the complexity and severity of the challenges—as well as the unique possibilities—businesses face in an increasingly volatile year. Cybersecurity threats, AI developments, economic instability, data privacy concerns and geopolitical tensions ranked among the top five most widespread concerns.
